Fist Ivarus is human wizard and a member of the Flaming Fist. He can be found in Wyrm's Rock Fortress in Act Three.
Bet you don't even remember half the foolery you got up to. Well, make yourself at home - you'll be staying a while.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Ivarus together with Fist JagicFist Jagic, Fist SaunderFist Saunder, and Fist CreekriderFist Creekrider guards the Wyrm's Rock Prison underneath the fortress. Ivarus constantly patrols the prison, walking from the end of the cell section to the Storage room door, past the entrance. None of the other guards ever change his route.

If the party attempt to free FlorrickFlorrick as part of the Free Counsellor FlorrickFree Counsellor Florrick quest, Ivarus potentially spots the attempt and must be dealt with.

If the player character comes to their senses in the prison cell after tasting Hoots Hooligan'sHoots Hooligan's special hooch, Ivarus greets them with mockery, tauntingly offering they make themselves at home, after having heavily caroused around after blacking out.

Ivarus expresses utter devotion to his duty, but even more he is loyal to Enver GortashEnver Gortash personally. If Gortash is defeated, Ivarus plainly claims that his own life no longer has meaning.

Try to stop a spell being cast.

If it is higher level than the spell slot you used to Counterspell, you must make a check using your spellcasting ability[See Notes] to prevent it. The check's difficulty is equal to 10 plus the level of the spell you are trying to counter.

This spell can be cast while you are Silenced Silenced.
