Succubus & Incubus
Succubi and Incubi are non-playable races of the Fiend type. The only character of this type in the game is Haarlep who can change between the two variants at will.
About Succubi and Incubi[edit | edit source]
Succubi and incubi are lusty, captivating creatures. They ultimately aim to seduce mortals to take their souls. To better accomplish this they are expert linguists and use their shape changing powers to assume a form most humanoids find stunningly attractive. In this regard Haarlep is no exception, and is the only such creature to be found in the game.
Although Baldur's Gate 3 implies having separate races, Haarlep nevertheless adheres to the 5th Edition ruleset, as their gender is interchangeable and in fact may change with the player character during an encounter with them. Prior to the 5th edition, these creatures were considered demons. In the 5e ruleset, they are neither demon nor devil, and are simply labled as fiends, who may ally with – or be used by – either cause in the Blood Wars.
Succubi[edit | edit source]
