Agility, reflexes, and balance.

Dexterity is an Ability Score and a key ability of Rogues, Rangers, Monks and other wielders of Finesse weapons.

Dexterity affects your Acrobatics, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth skills, as well as your Attack Rolls for ranged weapons and Finesse weapons. It also affects your Initiative and Armour Class.

Baldur's Gate 3 uses the Point Buy ruleset.

Nimblefinger Gloves Nimblefinger: Grants Gnomes +2 Dexterity, Halflings / Dwarves +1 Dexterity. No cap.
