Dolly Thrice the pixie.

A Pixie is a type of Fey and non-playable Race in Baldur's Gate 3.

About pixies[edit | edit source]

Pixies are a tiny Fey creature, infamous for their trickery, which is sometimes playful and sometimes malicious. They enjoy playing pranks, but some also perform more helpful magic.

During the events of Baldur's Gate 3, pixies are used to light Moonlanterns, their pixie dust giving off light that provides protection from the shadow curse. However, this comes at the expense of the pixie - the Moonlanterns only work while they are being injured.

Two pixies can be encountered; one in the Shadow-Cursed Lands and one in the Lower City. Several dead pixies can also be found in the Shadow-Cursed Lands, victims of Balthazar's experiments on the Moonlanterns.
