Aelis Siryasius is a drow half-elf in Baldur's Gate 3. He can be found in the Lower City Sewers. The area he inhabits is in close proximity to a number of Grease Elementals (both greater and lesser), and his dialogue suggests that he is able to speak to them, or at least believes that he can.

When the player first encounters Aelis, dialogue may reveal that he is mourning the death of his friend, Sarin.

Combat[edit | edit source]

Aelis Siryasius is initially a neutral entity, but can become hostile. When a character gets close enough, a conversation is automatically triggered between Aelis and that character. Conversation choices and available checks will then allow Aelis to either remain friendly, or become hostile towards the party (which initiates combat).
