Bugbear Assassin is a unique humanoid enemy found in Act One. This Bugbear has infiltrated the Emerald Grove, stalking Nadira for easy prey on the high hill east of the gate. If left unchecked, he will kill the tiefling.

Tactics[edit | edit source]

While a lone enemy, the Bugbear Assassin can still prove dangerous at a low level. His Brute passive can stack up quite a lot of damage on a strike, making up for his average Strength. He'll also apply a Basic Poison onto his Morningstar, which through the use of his Tenacity passive will always have a chance apply the Poisoned Poisoned condition.

Catching the bugbear in the act will inflict Surprised Surprised upon him, giving the party a free round of actions.
