Silver is a wolf in the Circle of the Emerald Grove during Act One.

Another stranger come to vex me. What will you do? Hunt me? Grab my tail? Shout until my head hurts?
Silver, when first approached

Act One[edit | edit source]

Silver is usually in the Inner Sanctum of the Emerald Grove. He[1] follows Rath Rath,[2] including into battle against the other druids.

Without Speak with Animals[edit | edit source]

A party member can attempt to approach Silver.

  • [SHADOWHEART] [ANIMAL HANDLING] Try to get closer. (DC 10 Disadvantage Icon.png)
  • [ANIMAL HANDLING] Try to get closer. (DC 10)

If approached successfully:

  • Shh. It's all right.
  • Go boy. Chase!
  • Shh, I won't hurt you.
  • Down, boy.
  • [RANGER] [DRUID] Sit next to him, murmuring softly while avoiding eye contact.

With Speak with Animals[edit | edit source]

Alternatively, the party member can use Speak with Animals Speak with Animals:

  • Relax. No one is here to hurt you.
  • Who's been pestering you? I'll teach them a lesson.
  • I just wanted to give you my smell. I'll leave you be.

Companion approval[edit | edit source]

The last two options of either method will successfully calm Silver, resulting in Gale approves +1 Karlach approves +1 Shadowheart approves +1 Wyll approves +1

  1. Silver has no pronouns in-game, but Chris Kaye who voices Silver appears to to use he/him
  2. Between this, and Siver's UID being S_DEN_PetWolf, it is reasonable to assume that he is Rath's pet
