Bugbear Assassin is a humanoid bugbear enemy found in Act One.
You have good timing. Never been much of a fighter, so wrestling a bugbear would have gone poorly.

The Bugbear Assassin has infiltrated the Emerald Grove, stalking NadiraNadira for easy prey on the high hill east of the gate. If left unchecked, Nadira is killed.

Although the Bugbear Assassin is a lone enemy, their Brute passive can stack up significant damage on a strike, making up for their average Strength. They will also coat their Morningstar with Basic Poison. Through the Bugbear's Tenacity passive, the PoisonedPoisoned condition will always be applied.

Interrupting the bugbear in the midst of killing will inflict SurprisedSurprised, allowing the party a free round of actions.
