Yonas can only be encountered in the Shadow-Cursed Lands if the party enters the area through the Grymforge elevator. He is part of an expedition of Harpers led by Lassandra and consisting of Karrow, Meygan, and himself. After meeting the party and being ordered to move in, he is struck down and snatched into the surrounding darkness by a Shadow, where he called for help.
