Aranea Major

Aranea Major is a spider summoned via a Beast Master's  Wolf Spider Companion ability, a variant of  Ranger's Companion. Aranea Major is upgraded from Aranea once the Beast Master reaches level 5, and becomes Aranea Aculeata once the Beast Master reaches level 11.

 Venomous Bite ()

1d8 (1~8) + Dexterity modifier Piercing

Bite a target to deal 1d8 + Dexterity ModifierPiercing damage and possibly  Poison it.

CON Save

 Melee: 1.5 m / 5  ft

 Web ()

Expel a thick, flammable webbing that slows creatures within and possibly  Enwebs them.

DEX Save

 Range: 18 m / 60 ft

AoE: 3 m / 10 ft (Radius)

Because of the  Prey's Scent passive, Beast Master rangers may wish to attack the target marked by  Hunter's Mark for optimal damage.

At higher levels

As the Ranger gains levels, Aranea Major will grow as well until it transforms into Aranea Aculeata at level 11:
