Involvement[edit | edit source]
Act Two[edit | edit source]
Moonrise Towers[edit | edit source]
If observed approaching the main entrance to Moonrise Towers for the first time, Merim stops the party and lets Malik probe at their tadpoles through the use of his own. Upon recognizing the party as True Souls, Malik asks for news from the field; no matter the response, Merim notes that Disciple Z'rell is in the audience chamber, and would want to hear from them.
Minthara's escape[edit | edit source]
If Minthara is freed from the Moonrise Towers Prison, the party can lead her out of Moonrise Towers through the main entrance. Passing by Merim and Malik results in their blocking the party's path, demanding an explanation as to why Minthara is not in her cell. If convinced the party have the authority to escort her out (or that she has been fully subjugated), they are satisfied and the party can leave peacefully;[1] otherwise Merim and Malik become hostile.
Defending Moonrise Towers[edit | edit source]
If the Nightsong is freed and the Harpers launch their assault on Moonrise Towers, Merim is killed during the subsequent battle. Her corpse can be found at the bottom of the stairs of the main door entering Moonrise, at X: -153 Y: -130.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- ↑ If Minthara is recruited as a companion and returns to Moonrise Towers while Ketheric Thorm is still alive, and she is not near the player character or another tadpole-infected companion, she (whether disguised or not) is attacked if seen by the tower guards or other principal followers of the Absolute. If other party members are nearby, they may be drawn into the conflict as well. The exact range required to avoid a fight is not yet known, but if avoiding a fight is desired, it is recommended that Minthara remains within sight of a tadpoled party member while in Moonrise Towers.
