Steel Watchers are NPCs mainly found in the city of Baldur's Gate.

I am a Steel Watcher, citizen. Here to serve the people of Baldur's Gate in the name of Lord Enver Gortash.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Steel Watchers were invented by Enver Gortash Enver Gortash in an attempt to control the city. Steel Watchers are characterized by their imposing size and ability to self-destruct.

Combat[edit | edit source]

Each Steel Watcher wields a Watcher Greatsword or a Watcher Crossbow. The weapon does not drop when the Steel Watcher dies, but can be disarmed.

  • Defeating a Steel Watcher inflicts the party with Pursuit Protocol Pursuit Protocol for 20 turns.
  • As of Patch #6, a Steel Watcher with the Wet (Condition) won't gain Vulnerability to Lightning in Tactician or Honour Mode. It still becomes Vulnerable to Cold
