Crawling claws are a type of non-playable race and undead creature in Acts Two and Three.

About crawling claws[edit section | visual editor]

Crawling Claws are the reanimated amputated hands of humanoids. They are often crafted by necromancers to perform menial tasks, or employed as familiars by warlocks and wizards.

Crawling Claws do not have a great deal of health or significant attacks, instead overwhelming their foes in swarms known as 'applauses'.

Notes[edit section | visual editor]

  • Crawling Claws have a unique "Rock On" victory animationvictory animation if they are part of the player character's party, which plays after the end of combat. While they normally cannot be allied with the party, it is possible to observe this behavior by taking control of one with the Control Undead Control Undead ability.
  • Crawling Claws are the only creature that possess Blindsight Blindsight without also possessing some value of Darkvision Darkvision. This means that, in areas of Obscurity, all attacks against it gain Advantage despite the creature "not relying on sight".
