Gan is usually in the training area of the Grove alongside Ide Ide and Umi Umi. He is seemingly bored of training dummies and eager to practise on real goblins. The party can encourage or discourage him and the other children during an interaction with Asharak Asharak.

If the party travel to the Mountain Pass or Shadow-Cursed Lands before resolving Kagha Kagha's ritual the Rite of Thorns, the tieflings will be expelled from the Emerald Grove and Gan's corpse can be found among the pile of refugees near the bridge to the Blighted Village.
