Involvement[edit | edit source]

Nine-Fingers Keene can be found in the Guildhall in the Lower City of Baldur's Gate. She can provide information on finding Minsc Minsc. If spoken with by Jaheira Jaheira, Keene refers to her as a hero, claims that Jaheira owes her money, and makes note of allowing a Harper to walk "unholed" through the Guildhall.

If Minsc is in the party when visiting again, Nine-Fingers tells him he was a hero of hers when she was younger. Minsc and Boo can offer to join the Guild as Nine-Fingers' 'Berserker Lodge', after the Absolute is slain.

Nine-Fingers Keene can help the party in the final fight if they side with the Guild instead of the Zhentarim at the end of the quest Aid the Underduke Aid the Underduke, allowing her personal bodyguards to be summoned with Gather Your Allies Gather Your Allies. The inspiration Woman of Her Word Woman of Her Word will be gained by party members with the Charlatan Charlatan background.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  1. Dialogue with Jaheira Jaheira and Minsc Minsc, and in Greenwood, E., Sernett, M., & Winter, S. (2013-08-20). D & D: Murder in Baldur’s Gate.
  2. Keene is an established Dungeons and Dragons character, who previously appeared in Murder in Baldur's Gate.
  3. Nine-Fingers having 30x Daggers is possibly an Easter egg reference to the character Logen Ninefingers from Joe Abercrombie's The First Law trilogy who famously teaches others, You can never have too many knives.[Needs Verification]
