Ettercaps are non-playable race and type of Monstrosity creature in Baldur's Gate 3. They are infested with crawling spiders and can shoot webs at their prey.

About ettercaps

Though they only have two arms and two legs, these foul predators have more in common with the spiders they herd than with humanoids.

Ettercaps are Infested, which can be removed by Fire and Acid damage, making them safe to attack with melee weapons.
