The Hollow is a Location within the Emerald Grove in Act One of Baldur's Gate 3. It is the section of the Emerald Grove that most of the tiefling refugees reside in, and the primary way of accessing the Tiefling Hideout.

Overview[edit | edit source]
The Hollow is a connective hub area for the Emerald Grove. In addition to providing easy access to other areas of the Grove, it is home to several different traders and other important characters. It is also one of the locations where Shadowheart and Wyll can be recruited as companions, provided they have not yet joined the party.

Hidden treasures[edit | edit source]
- The haystack near the two oxen tended by Toron. To reveal this location, party members who are under the effect of may talk to the Bored Ox or pass a
DC 7 Perception check.
- Past the oxen, where Doni loiters, a pair of
Metallic Gloves are lying on the horse cart. They can be picked up without it counting as stealing. The locked travel-worn chest next to the cart also contains useful loot.
- Behind the storage shed where Pandirna is located, there is a pouch on the ground containing loot. The player character can access the storage either by lockpicking the front door (a forbidden action) or climbing through the roof along the rear via the Makeshift Prison. Caution: there are exploding plants along this path that are only revealed by an ability check.
