Poltergeist

Poltergeists are an Undead creature in Baldur's Gate 3. They are found in the Jannath Estate.

The shove distance depends on your Strength and the target's weight.

 Range: 9 m / 30 ft

 Forceful Throw ()

Damage: 1~10

Throw an item at a creature, wounding it and possibly knocking it  Prone.

Heavier items deal more damage.

DEX Save

 Range: 18 m / 60 ft

AoE: 1 m / 3 ft (Radius)

 Withering Touch ()

Damage: 7~35

4d8 + 3Necrotic

Touch a nearby creature and pour your fetid magic through its very soul.

 Melee: 1.5 m / 5  ft

 Fly ()

Fly to a target position

 Range: 18 m / 60 ft

Tactics

• Poltergeists will initially have the condition  Invisible, and will cause damage by throwing furniture. If a party member has the condition  See Invisibility or  Volo's Ersatz Eye, they will become  Revealed for one turn.
• Poltergeists will only be drawn into battle if they are revealed, otherwise they can be ignored entirely (although they will continue throwing furniture).
• They can fly down from the upper levels of the estate, so it may be best to wait for them to come closer rather then traversing into areas where Cursed Skulls are still active.

About mummy lords

The Mummy Lord is a more powerful Mummy who are effectively immortal, unless their heart is destroyed. They lack resistance to physical damage, but also do not have a weakness to fire.

The Mummy can  Multiattack if the target is  Frightened.

 Turn Resistance

Turn Resistance gives Advantage on Saving throws against any effect that turns undead.
