Tactics[edit | edit source]

If left unchecked, ancient mud mephits can build a small army using Summon Mephit. Attacking them at close range is a dire prospect, as they can swiftly kite melee strikers with Fly Fly. On death, they damage and slow attackers with Death Burst and mud patches.

It is recommended to attack them from a distance with high-damage burst skills like Scorching Ray Scorching Ray or Sneak Attack (Ranged) Sneak Attack (Ranged) before they summon minions. Clumping mephits together can also cause a Death Burst chain reaction that kills one and weakens others using an area-of-effect ability.
