Idle banter

Kaldani and Rikka mourn Kannon:

  • Rikka: Why does this keep happening? He was joking about Okta's soup just a moment ago...
    • Kaldani: Come on, Rikka.
      • Rikka: And now what? We dig a hole and be done with him?
        • Kaldani: We... we could say a prayer. We should have time for that.
          • Rikka: Yeah... yeah, that would be good.
          • Rikka: O Selûne, Our Lady of Silver. Please, may he rest by Your side.
          • Rikka: He... he never hurt anyone. He always knew what to say... when I was homesick. He never let it show, but he was homesick, too. He didn't deserve this.

If the Grove prepare for a goblin raid during Act One, Kaldani and Lakrissa attempt to build a barricade together:

  • Lakrissa: Right. Should hold together.
    • Kaldani: Should?
      • Lakrissa: Well. We won't be long finding out, I suppose.
  • Lakrissa: Goblins better bloody show up, after all this effort we're putting in.
    • Kaldani: Yup. Murderous is one thing, but late? Beshaba pass over.
  • Lakrissa: You think it'll make any difference?
    • Kaldani: What?
      • Lakrissa: All this. Getting ready, like.
        • Kaldani: I... I don't know.

If the Grove prepare for a goblin raid during Act One, Asharak reviews Kaldani's barricade:

  • Asharak: Torm spare me, that thing looks fearsome.
    • Kaldani: Is that good or bad?
      • Asharak: Depends which side of it you're standing on, I suppose.
  • Asharak: What're all the spikes about?
    • Kaldani: For sticking goblin heads on.
      • Asharak: Right. Keep at it, then.
  • Asharak: I suppose it's a pity to tear down trees for this.
    • Kaldani: Seems a good use of them, to me.
      • Asharak: Don't think Halsin'd fancy us pulling up his grove.
        • Kaldani: Ah. Hadn't actually thought of that.
