Act One[edit | edit source]

Taeglyn's corpse can be found crushed beneath rocks in the Worg Pens at X: 416 Y: -46. Using Speak with Dead Speak with Dead reveals that he was attempting to escape the goblin prison by digging a tunnel, but the tunnel collapsed and trapped him in rubble.

Speak with Dead[edit | edit source]

  • Who are you?
    • Dead Elf
      Taeglyn... carpenter. Father of two.
  • How did you end up here?
    • Dead Elf
Heading to... Baldur's Gate. Didn't hear... goblin patrol.
  • Why is there a heart on one of your shoes?
    • Dead Elf
My son Galean... did it. If I ever missed him... could look down and... remember him.
  • There's a bear in one of the other cells. Where did it come from?
    • Dead Elf
      Not... bear.
  • Were you the only prisoner here?
    • Dead Elf
Goblins took... my friends. Cut them up... for the worgs. For meat.
  • How did you get trapped in the tunnel?
    • Dead Elf
Digging... too quickly. Felt tunnel... collapsing. Kept going. Better dead than... worg meat.
