Helsik is a warlock and diabolist who owns the Devil's Fee in the Lower City. She is a trader with a stock of magical equipment, alchemy ingredients, dyes, potions, and scrolls. As a diabolist, Helsik is also capable of opening a portal to the Hells.

Overview

Background

Helsik is a warlock in service to the archdevil Mammon; possibly the richest being in existence and a miser who is loyal only to coin. At her store, the Devil's Fee, she also trades in curios and information, having a large and rare collection of Hellish items that she has accumulated in her occupation as a diabolist.

However, Helsik was not satisfied with the coin that trading curios brought in, and decided to diversify her skills into providing "access". [text 1]

Quests

Involvement

The party can be directed to Helsik by a number of characters and notes that mark her as a diabolist, someone capable of opening a portal to the Hells. Arriving at Helsik's store, the party may notice with Perception checks several rare curios that could only be found in a diabolists collection.

Helsik can assist in breaking the party into the Hells, however it will come at a cost. The player can pay her 20,000 gold (or Intimidate it down to 10,000), or offer to bring her back the Gauntlets of Hill Giant Strength from Raphael's collection.

Background HauntedOne Icon.png Spoiler warning! This section reveals interactions with The Dark Urge.

Helsik will recognise the Dark Urge, handing them the hat which Sceleritas Fel left at the Devil's Fee. In the past she opened a portal to Mephistopheles' vaults in the Hells for the Urge and Gortash to steal the Crown of Karsus.
