Sovereign Glut is a Myconid NPC in Baldur's Gate 3 and a temporary companion. He is first encountered at the Ebonlake Grotto a part of the Myconid Colony in the Underdark. Glut is Myconid Sovereign without a circle since the Duergar killed his colony.

Depending on Race and Origin the player has individual dialogue options. Afterwards Glut shares his memory of his fellow Myconids slain by the duergar. If you agree to kill the duergar, Glut wants to join you to avenge his colony.

In the end Glut wants to overthrow sovereign Spaw to be the new sovereign of the myconid colony. You get the choice to either aid Glut or refuse, in which case he becomes hostile.
