Overview[edit | edit source]
If approaching the Open Hand Temple, the party learn that its priest was cruelly murdered. The Temple's second-in-charge, Sister Yannis, can be found arguing with Investigator Valeria on the murder suspect. Valeria is convinced that Lorgan was killed by the refugee Brilgor, but Yannis disagrees.
After Valeria leaves, Yannis asks the party to conduct a more meticulous investigation, and informs them that the accused Brilgor was found dead alongside Lorgan.

Act Three[edit | edit source]
Father Lorgan's corpse is in the temple's infirmary at X: -59 Y: -23. The only thing that can be looted from it is Lorgan's Chest Key.

, Father Lorgan reveals that he attempted to help the refugees in accordance with Ilmater's teachings, but he hid many of his actions because he knew that many others in the temple would disapprove (such asLorgan reveals that he was killed while hiding Brilgor from Flaming Fist guards in the caves beneath the temple. His murderer was a dwarf dressed in red, who used a paralytic poison on him. Brilgor's corpse can corroborate the murderer's physical description. If the party interrogate a dead doppelganger in the caves, the corpse confirms this description and names the killer as Dolor.
