Involvement[edit section | visual editor]

Farlin is on the Western Beach west of the South Span Checkpoint in Wyrm's Crossing during Act Three at X: -212 Y: Y:87. She and a group of Guild members are arguing with the Stone Lord'sStone Lord's crew lead by CaïrosCaïros near a docked ship from Moonrise Towers, accessible by taking the western path between the South Span Checkpoint and Open Hand Temple.

Upon approaching the two groups, Farlin asks for help fighting the Stone Lord's men, promising that the Guild will pay. If the party agrees to help, the Guild joins them in a fight against the Stone Lord's men. Doing so grants the inspiration Stacking the DeckStacking the Deck for party members with the CriminalCriminal background.

If the party declines to assist, appeals to Cairos, or prevents either side from fighting, both groups turn hostile. The party can also wait nearby for the fight to begin, join in, or wait for it to end.

If the party sides with Farlin, she puts in a good word for them with TusgrontTusgront[1] who guards the entrance to the Guild. He then lets the party inside the Guildhall without requiring a dialogue check.

If Caïros' side wins the fight and the party kills them afterwards, party members with the CriminalCriminal background gain the inspiration Easy PickingsEasy Pickings.

After the combat, if Farlin's side wins, Farlin claims everything in the area for the Guild. If a party member asserts that the loot is theirs, she becomes hostile and attacks. However, if she is knocked out instead of killed, and a long rest occurs, she still puts in a good word with Tusgront.

Notes and references[edit section | visual editor]

  1. Tusgront likes Farlin and describes Farlin as a "funny little gnome", always laughing even when she does not joke - oblivious to the fact that she is mocking him. Tusgront's dialogue:
Tusgront: "Wait. You're Farlin's friend... She said to let you in."
Tusgront: "Funny little gnome, she is - always laughing at me. Even when I don't joke."
Devnote: oblivious to the fact that she is mocking him. Thinks she’s just a good-natured little gnome.
