Rogue is a character Class in Baldur's Gate 3. Rogues are well versed in the art of stealth and rely on their resourcefulness to be in control of any challenging situation. Rogues use Dexterity as their primary ability score.

The Rogue Subclasses are: Arcane Trickster Arcane Trickster, Thief Thief, Assassin Assassin

Level progression

Through experience, you acquire new power. You gain the following traits.

Level 1

Sneak Attack Sneak Attack

  • Once per turn, you can deal an extra 1d6Damage TypesPhysicalDRS damage to an enemy you have Advantage Icon.png Advantage on, or have an ally next to.
  • You must have a Finesse or Ranged weapon equipped.
  • As you gain levels in Rogue, this damage will go up by adding more D6 Physical.png d6 die.

  • Use your lightning-quick reflexes to protect yourself. When an attack hits you, you only take half the usual damage.

Evasion Evasion

  • Your agility lets you dodge out of the way of certain spells. When a spell or effect would deal half damage on a successful Dexterity Saving Throw, it deals no damage if you succeed, and only half damage if you fail.
