The windmill Mind flayer is a notable Mind Flayer that can be found sleeping underneath the Abandoned Windmill in Rivington. It is brain-starved, as a result of its recent ceremorphosis.
Involvement

If the party member interacts with the mind flayer, The Emperor tells the party it is a recently transformed mind flayer, and then tells them to kill it, so they may consume its power. The party can either sneak away making a Stealth check to leave, or can wake up the mind flayer.
If the party wakes it up, it will notice the party's tadpoles and ask the party for a fresh brain to consume, kicking off the quest Feed the Mind Flayer. The party can either bring him a fresh corpse, tell him to get his own food, or simply kill him. The first and third options granting a free Illithid power.
