Sister Shirra Clarwen is the granddaughter of the cursed monk and follower of Ilmater, who lives in the Open Hand Temple in Rivington.

History[edit | edit source]

Shirra was a sister and one of the trained deadspeakers at the Open Hand Temple. She was to endure the mania of her grandfather, the cursed monk of the Sentient Amulet, as was Ilmater's wont.

She passed peacefully in the year 1491 DR, her body interred in the crypt below the temple.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Upon reaching the Open Hand Temple, the party will learn that Shirra died the previous year. Her body may be found in the crypt beneath the temple, accessed through a hatch in the kitchen.

Shirra's body is inside the farthest sarcophagus on the left when entering the crypt. Inside will be an inanimate zombie that is now but a husk, her spirit having already departed.
