The player will find Nettie healing an injured bird. After talking, she will reveal those birds are being sent to find her teacher, Halsin. The player can then ask Nettie to help them with the tadpole. She will then guide the player to a secret room there.

Nettie can be found in the [[Druids' Chambers]] healing a {{CharLink|Wounded Bird}}, who had become injured in her search for Halsin. If the party ask her to heal them of their tadpoles, Nettie guides them into the [[Enclave Library]]. If the interacting player character is honest with Nettie, she informs them that she doesn't know how to remove their tadpoles but that she and Halsin had been investigating [[Illithid]]s. She asks the party to rescue Halsin because he may be the only person who knows of a cure. She offers the party {{SmRarityItem|Wyvern Toxin}}, which is to be consumed if they begin mutating into [[Mind Flayer]]s. If the party refuse to drink the poison, Nettie becomes hostile and attacks.


If the player has been honest with her, Nettie will tell them that she has no idea how to deal with it and that it's not the first time she has heard of the [[True Soul]]. She will recommend the player to rescue Halsin because he is the only one who can know of a cure.

Nettie is a dwarven druid in the Circle of the Emerald Grove in Act One. Nettie is a student under Halsin First Druid Halsin. In his absence, she is the primary healer in the Emerald Grove.

Act One[edit | edit source]

Nettie can be found in the Druids' Chambers healing a Wounded Bird Wounded Bird, who had become injured in her search for Halsin. If the party ask her to heal them of their tadpoles, Nettie guides them into the Enclave Library. If the interacting player character is honest with Nettie, she informs them that she doesn't know how to remove their tadpoles but that she and Halsin had been investigating Illithids. She asks the party to rescue Halsin because he may be the only person who knows of a cure. She offers the party Wyvern Toxin, which is to be consumed if they begin mutating into Mind Flayers. If the party refuse to drink the poison, Nettie becomes hostile and attacks.

If the interacting party character avoids Nettie's questions, she attempts to poison the player character using a thorn branch.
