Barbarian is a class in Baldur's Gate 3.

Barbarians use their martial prowess and primal rage to strengthen themselves and dominate enemies in combat.

- Key abilities
- Strength for improved attack rolls and damage with melee weapons.
- Dexterity for higher initiative and Armour Class
- Constitution for more hit points and unarmoured Armour Class.

- Charisma for the effective use of actions, items, scrolls, and equipment.

Level progression[edit section | visual editor]
Through experience, you acquire new power. You gain the following traits.
Level 1[edit section | visual editor]
- Rage Charges: 2
- The number of times you can Rage per day. Replenished by long rest.
- Rage ( + )
- Deal 2 extra damage with melee and improvised weapons, and throwing.
- Gain Resistance to physical damage, and Advantage on Strength Checks and Saving Throws.
- Your body is as resilient as any armour. While not wearing armour, you add your Constitution Modifier to your Armour Class.

- Reckless Attack ()
- Throw all caution in the wind to gain Advantage on your melee Attack Roll. Until your next turn, you have advantage on attack rolls, but enemies also have advantage on attack rolls against you.
- You sense when things aren't as they should be. You have Advantage on Dexterity saving throws, such as against traps, spells, and surfaces. To gain this benefit, you can't be Blinded or Incapacitated.

- Gain an additional Rage Charge. You can now Rage more times per long rest.

- You can make an additional free attack after making an unarmed or weapon attack.
- Your Movement Speed increases by 3 m / 10 ft while not wearing Heavy Armour.

- Once per Short Rest, if you drop to 0 hit points while Enraged, you regain 1hit points instead of being Downed.

- Rage Charges: 5 : Gain an additional Rage Charge. You can now Rage more times per long rest.
