An Elixir being inspected from the Alchemy window

Similar to Potions, Elixirs can apply a variety of beneficial effects. Unlike with Potions, often last until the next long rest. In most cases, drinking an Elixir will cancel any previous Elixir effects. Although most Elixirs can be drunk or Thrown at any time, they are often best used as part of a longer term strategy.
