Olak

Sentinel Olak is a Goblin Warrior in the Goblin Camp in Act One. He is in charge the checkpoint leading to the camp from the Blighted Village, constantly arguing with his second in command Warrior Puce.

Despite his title of sentinel, he has the same stats of other goblin warrior, except for a higher AC because of his shield.

Involvement

Sentinel Olak will question any adventurers approaching his checkpoint and attack any of those he finds to be trespassing upon the Goblin Camp. He can be persuaded to let the party pass through several methods, including being a Drow (or appearing as one via Disguise Self), being vouched for by Sazza, using Illithid Persuasion, or convinced by using an Intimidation check.

Convincing him using a skill check other than the intimidation check, or failing any check will result in Olak asking you to smear Worg feces on your face to show your "war colours":

Optionally, the party may fling them at the goblins, starting combat:

• Wink, gather the dung, and fling it at all four guards.  +1  +1  +1  +5
• [ATHLETICS] Scoop up the warm dung and fling it at Olak's face.  +1  +1  +1  +5

However, only the earlier Athletics check will blind Olak before combat.
