Spellcasting
Monk Ki Icon.pngKi is the magic that flows through all living beings. You can use Ki points to fuel your advanced monk techniques.
; Spellcasting Ability
: Wisdom
: Short Rest
: Monks do not cast spells using spell slots. Instead, they use a resource specific to Monk called kis.
: Monks can use Ki while Silenced due to Ki abilities not requiring a verbal component.

Monk Ki Icon.pngKi is a resource specific to Monk. It is used to cast certain abilities that the Monk class can learn.
Level progression
At level 1, the Monk starts with 2 charges of Monk Ki Icon.pngKi, and gain one more every subsequent level. Expended Charges can be restored by taking a short rest, or, if the Monk's subclass is Way of the Four Elements, they can use Harmony of Fire and Water.
