Jaheira favors direct approaches and is not interested in flattery. She loves snarky jokes even at her own expense. She approves of good deeds no matter how small they are.

Greetings[edit | edit source]

Depending on their approval rating, Jaheira may greet the player with:

Negative (<0):

  • "Speak, so long as you have something sensible to say."
  • "What."

Neutral and Medium (0 - 39):

  • "Speak."
  • "Yes?"
  • "Well - are we ready for the road once more?" (in camp)

High (40+):

  • "The cub speaks."
  • "What is it, cub?"

Note: This option is available only if your character is a Baldurian themselves, or has successfully deceived Grotpoll into believing so, if they're not

  • Donate (500) gold to Manip Nestor for refugees. Also grants inspiration Sharing the Spoils Jaheira approves +2
  • As a Ranger, tell Fortuno Dibbs to relax for Biscotti.

At the Requisitioned Barn:

  • Tell Wulbren that you are convinced and to give you the bomb or reason with the Gondians. Jaheira approves +1

Dealing with Orin's guises:

  • If Orin is impersonating Fist Rowan, tell her that one can't just kill innocent people Jaheira approves +1

    • OR, Playing as The Dark Urge, tell her that mindless slaughter is not the answer Jaheira approves +1
  • If Orin is impersonating Gyldro Angleiron, tell her you would never kill someone you cared about. Jaheira approves +1

Note: When playing as Karlach or Wyll origin, this option will have an unique formulation, but still take its place (line 3)

  • Playing as The Dark Urge, tell her that you do all you can to keep your loved ones safe from your blade

  • Volunteer any companion to the stage as an assistant to Dribbles, except Jaheira herself Jaheira approves +1, and then cheer them, saying 'Go on!'Jaheira approves +1
    • After volunteering Minthara to the show, ask her to tell her drider joke. Jaheira approves +1
  • If going on stage yourself, say you're special because you treat the people around you with kindness. Jaheira approves +1

Wyrm's Crossing

  • Consent to be arrested by the Steel Watcher at the gate between Rivington and Wyrm's Crossing. Jaheira approves +1
  • Refuse to deliver the gnome leader's head to Manip Falcäo Jaheira approves +1
  • At Carm's Garm, when Naaber pretends to be a dog, choose "nobody likes Naaber" line. Jaheira approves +1

Danthelon's Dancing Axe

  • When speaking to Geraldus and Chelvin, succeed an Insight check and choose to attack OR wait for Jaheira's signal. Jaheira approves +2 (either option)
    • Playing as a Sorcerer, choose class-based dialogue option after successful Insight check
  • Successfully probe Jaheira's thoughts for directions when talking to Chelvin.
  • Speaking to Geraldus after the fight, stand to him, telling Jaheira:
    • That the choice to live or die must be his only Jaheira approves +10
    • OR That it was her fault, while Geraldus lived to warn her Jaheira approves +10
  • Agree to find Minsc right away. Jaheira approves +2

Wyrm's Rock Fortress

At the Flaming Fist quarters:

  • Convince the Flaming Fist quartermaster Arkleia Oloril to trade with you. Jaheira approves +1

When you spot Fist Reynash trying to open a chest:

  • Wake other guards Jaheira approves +1

Note: Waking guards gains approval only after discovering by any available means that Reynash was stealing from others.

  • Find out that Reynash needs gold, and then:
    • Tell him to get a grip Jaheira approves +1
    • OR Give him 300 gold to take the ferry Jaheira approves +1

Speaking to Manip Bakshi (regardless if you succeeded a check to discover Reynash's thieving attempt or not):

  • Successfully detect his thoughts and pretend to be a new recruit Jaheira approves +1
  • OR Tell him you've spotted another guard on stealing Jaheira approves +1, and then:
    • Let Bakshi arrest you Jaheira approves +1
    • Agree to leave barracks (or let him escort you out) Jaheira approves +1

At the Audience Hall:

  • Pass the Steel Watcher that confronts you at the coronation Jaheira approves +1

  • Tell Gortash that you have no interest in this sham of a coronation Jaheira approves +1

Approaching Duke Ravengard after the coronation:

  • Ask what has happened to the city's great hero Jaheira approves +1 (a Baldurian option)
  • Ask if the current state of the city is what they call tyranny Jaheira approves +2
  • Tell the Duke that Florrick sent you, then probe Ravengard's mind to discover councellor's location and tell him that Gortash is a tyrant Jaheira approves +2

Guildhall

  • When talking with Nine-Fingers Keene the first time, say you are Jaheira's friend, OR say you came for the food, OR that you're exploring the local sewer-life. Jaheira approves +2
    • Then tell Keene that Jaheira is not alone, OR ask her if she really thinks that this will stop Jaheira, OR tell her you can handle it. Jaheira approves +2
  • Make Tut Thistlebog to reveal the location of the ambush against Stone Lord. Jaheira approves +2
  • Tell Uktar "The quicker I deal with the Stone Lord [...]". Jaheira approves +2
  • When talking with Nine-Fingers Keene with Minsc in the party, use any check (Insight/Intimidation/Persuasion) to convince him that Keene isn't an enemy. Jaheira approves +10
