Find Doni

Doni has wandered off.

Find Doni is a quest in Act One of Baldur's Gate 3. It can be started by speaking with Rikka at the Druid Grove.

Objectives

Find Doni

• As the tieflings prepare for the siege, Rikka asked us to find Doni and bring him to safety.

Return to Rikka

• We found Doni staring at the door to the druids' lair. He left for the children's hideout.

Quest Complete

• If Doni is found: Rikka was grateful and thanked us for finding Doni.
• If Rikka dies during the goblin raid: Rikka died.
• If the party helps the druids cast out the tieflings: We betrayed the tieflings' trust - Rikka won't want to deal with us anymore.
• If the party leaves for the Mountain Pass or Grym's Forge without finding Doni: We left the region without helping Rikka.
• If the party does not speak to Rikka before the goblin raid: The siege began before we could bring any news to Rikka.

Walkthrough

Rika searches for Doni.

Find Doni only occurs if the leaders of the goblin camp are left alive and learn the location of the Druid Grove. In this instance, the goblins come to raid the Grove and the tieflings and druids prepare for the assault. As part of this, Rikka is wandering around the Hollow searching for Doni, who has gone missing. Rikka has instructed all of the tiefling children to hide in their hideout and she will lock the hatch so that no harm comes to them. She can't do that until Doni is found.

Rikka can be found wandering the area roughly where the oxes were previously (X:215, Y:555). Doni can be found by the Sacred Pool, in front of the door to the Inner Sanctum (X:225, Y:526). The door is locked and the druids inside, while Doni is outside grunting. Speak to Doni and select "Go rejoin the others, kid." Doni runs off to the hatch, where Rikka soon finds him. After Doni has been found, hurry back to Rikka to resolve the quest - she'll be grateful that Doni is okay.

Notes

• As of Hotfix 28 - 13:40, 16 October 2024 (CET), sometimes the option to move Doni along won't appear. In this instance, using  Minor Illusion can work to send Doni bit by bit towards Rikka until he gets close enough to to be seen by her, or vice versa with Rikka moving towards Doni.
