Cleric is a character class in Baldur's Gate 3.
Overview edit
Clerics worship and enact their deities' will to the world, for better or worse. They channel the power of their faith to cast Spells. Clerics use Wisdom as their primary ability score.

Prepared spells
- You may swap your prepared spells at any time while out of combat, but can only have a certain number of spells prepared at a time. The spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots.

Through experience, you acquire new power. You gain the following traits.
Level 1 edit
- Select Deity
A Cleric's choice of deity provides access to some unique conversation options throughout the game. Some Cleric spells have visual effects that incorporate the chosen deity's symbol.
Note that choice of deity is restricted by the race and subrace of the cleric. Only Githyanki have the option to choose Vlaakith as a deity, only Duergar have the option to choose Laduguer as a deity, Lolth-Sworn Drow may only choose Lolth as a deity, and Seldarine Drow cannot choose Lolth as a deity. The deity choice for Shadowheart is fixed, the deity choice screen will not show when selecting the Cleric class. She will have Shar as picked deity.

- You gain the ability to channel divine energy, starting with two effects: Turn Undead and an effect determined by your domain. Replenished by Short or Long Rest.

- Divine Strike deals 1d8 of a specified element upon a weapon strike, while Potent Spellcasting adds the Wisdom Modifier to Cleric Cantrip damage.

- Divine Intervention
- Call upon your deity in your moment of greatest need. Once they interfere, your deity will never do so again in this manner.
- Sunder the Heretical ()
- Call upon your deity to bring forth a radiant cataclysm upon all nearby enemies.
- Arm Thy Servant ()
- Call upon your deity to grant you a legendary weapon forged in the fires of your holy bond.
- Opulent Revival ()
- Resurrect fallen companions with half their hit points, and restore all nearby allies as if they had Long Rested.
- Golden Generosity ()
- Call upon your deity to provide you with a rich bounty of potions and Camp Supplies.
