Phrennog is in the Lower City waiting to enter the Upper City of Baldur's Gate during Act Three.
I was queueing with the others and then I started feeling... wrong. No, thanks.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act Three[edit | edit source]

Phrennog is standing with 'Grumpo' Daggles 'Grumpo' Daggles near the entrance of Facemaker's Boutique. They were waiting in the queue to head toward the Upper City but left due to feeling unsettled.

Idle banter[edit | edit source]

  • Phrennog
    Can't you feel it?
    • 'Grumpo' Daggles
      Feel what exactly?
      • Phrennog
That weird... something. I dunno - it's like a tingle in my spine I can't shake.
        • 'Grumpo' Daggles
You sure it's not a trapped nerve?
          • Phrennog
            I am, thank you.
  • Grumpo' Daggles
So you stopped queueing because you felt funny?
    • Phrennog
I mean yes, mostly. Why did you stop queueing, then?
      • 'Grumpo' Daggles
I couldn't take standing in that godsforsaken line a moment longer. Felt like I was gonna faint.
        • Phrennog
Fair enough. And they'd probably chuck you in the river if you did.
          • 'Grumpo' Daggles
            Probably. Oh, unless...
  • Grumpo' Daggles
Do you think we could swim into the Upper City? Through the river, I mean.
    • Phrennog
Maybe. I dunno how closely they watch it. But there's probably grates and things down there to keep trash like us out.
      • 'Grumpo' Daggles
Nah, you're right. And I'm not the best swimmer anyway. Gods know what else is down there and all.
  • Phrennog
What do you mean 'what else is down there'?
    • 'Grumpo' Daggles
I dunno. Magic, innit? I'm just saying maybe there's a reason for that weird feeling of yours.
      • Phrennog
        So you believe me, then?
        • 'Grumpo' Daggles
Stranger things have happened in Baldur's Gate is all I'm saying.
          • Phrennog
Think I made the right decision not to stay in line...
