Overview[edit | edit source]

Old Jol's is a small one-storied private building located in Eastway district of Baldur's Gate, south of across the Baldur's Mouth.

The only entrance is at X: 55 Y: -79. It is red-outlined, and breaking in without means of concealment inevitably draws the attention of the guards. One of them, Fist ErnestusFist Ernestus, stands constantly near the Baldur's Mouth corner, and the building is in his direct sight.

Inside the chest is gold and minor random loot.

Outside the building[edit | edit source]

On the stairs ground down the building are remnants of a destroyed Steel WatcherSteel Watcher. It cannot be looted, but upon interacting the Narrator prompts the following: "Unit defective - return to the Steel Watch Foundry at the West Docks.". This can help the party to locate the foundry if they do not have any hints on it yet.
