You can't try to please everyone. You've just got to love the process. Easier on some days than others.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act Three[edit | edit source]

Splatters Doolug feels a bit defeated due to Slatey Marven Slatey Marven's criticism toward his art. If interacting, the party can offer him positive feedback.

Idle banter[edit | edit source]

Slatey Marven: Bit cheery isn't it? Don't you know there's a war on?

  • Splatters Doolug: It's precisely in times of trouble that we need images of peace.
    • Slatey Marven: You're just making that up on the spot.

Slatey Marven: Is that supposed to be a bard or a druid?

  • Splatters Doolug: It's open to interpretation.
    • Slatey Marven: Sounds like something you'd say if you had no idea.

Slatey Marven: The hands are too big. And I don't like the colours.

  • Splatters Doolug: Everyone's a critic these days...
    • Splatters Doolug: You don't have to look at it, you know.
      • Slatey Marven: Why'd you make it so big then?
