Ground floor edit

Upon entering, several corpses of Duergar and carcasses of spiders are seen strewn about.

In the north corner of the room is a cupboard with a list of Park Keeper's Chores on it and the Groundskeeper's Hatch Key inside, which opens the hatch in the opposite corner.

Basement edit

Upon descending into the basement, the party discover a scene of an outright massacre. On the floor side by side lay several more dead Duergar and Lolth-Sworn Drow, a Mind Flayer and even a shattered Earth Elemental.

In the southern wall of the basement is a sizeable breach which opens into a large roundish cave with a ritual circle in the centre. There lies the body of Incontinentia FigginIncontinentia Figgin[2], which can be looted for Clown's Severed Leg and the note titled Sendai, the Third. These items are the part of the quest Find Dribbles the ClownFind Dribbles the Clown. If already started, picking up these items progress it. Otherwise, party members simply comment on the scene and the gory loot. Along the cave walls the bodies of six more dead drow women, all with the same appearance and portraits as Incontinentia.

The body of another drow, Danfora of the KingfishDanfora of the Kingfish, contains a copy of the "Sendai, the Third" letter.

All corpses on the ground floor and in the basement (including spiders) have unique names, but are not mentioned anywhere else in the game and Speak with DeadSpeak with Dead cannot be used on them. Other than Danfora and Incontinentia Figgin, none have any loot.

Near the breach is a wooden chest with minor random loot inside. The small room to the west is empty, except for several stacks of hay. In the corner across the basement ladder are several herbs suitable for Alchemy. Among and next to the corpses several uncommon +1 weapons can be found.

Notes and references edit

  1. Lavernica herself never appears as a character within the game. However, the entries in her diary mention she had noticed some suspicious figures wandering about the park, and pondered over reporting it to the Flaming Fist. This may denote the possible reason for attacking the house and Lavernica's presumable demise.
  2. This character's name may be a reference to a scene in Monty Phyton's Life of Brian, in which a roman noble woman named Incontinentia Buttocks and her husband Biggus Dickus are mentioned.
