Tender Honk is a situational character in the Lower City of the Baldur's Gate, a tender in The Singing Lute restaurant.

Involvement[edit section | visual editor]

Honk appears within the game only if the Singing Lute's owner, Tender HenkTender Henk, dies before the player character goes on a date with KarlachKarlach. Otherwise, his presence is indicated only by the note carried in Henk's pockets. If this note is to be believed, Honk does not approve of Henk practicing music before the store closes.

If Henk dies, Tender Honk is the waiter catering to Karlach and her partner during their date at The Singing Lute in Act Three. He does the same actions as Henk does during the date with one exception; instead of saying, "Jableeda", as Henk does when Karlach addresses him about the order, he says "Jablooda".

Unlike Tender Henk, Honk does not act as a trader within the game.
