Golbraith Stredivas is a human who can be found on the first floor of his house in the Lower City. He is loosely based on a fan of Baldur's Gate 3, who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's.[url 1][url 2]

If the player reassures him that they know how to deal with mind flayers, he will give them a shield originally gifted to him by Abdel Adrian, Abdel's Trusted Shield.[note 1] However, if the party tells him "You should be out there fighting- not hiding in here!" Golbraith will lament his inability to help his son (due to his age) and demand that the party leave his house.
