Courageous Little Kimmabeth can be found dead in the basement of Peartree House, his heart extracted and burning in a brazier nearby.
Kimmabeth was killed by Orin the Red. His corpse was used as a component of Orin's "art" as an effigy to Yaga-Shura, a Bhaalspawn belonging to a Fire Giants race defeated more than a century ago, along with the body of Cassie Wheynstown.
Fire Giants are not included in the game as a playable race, nor can any of them be met along the playthrough. Therefore, Kimmabeth's in-game model, as well as model of Hubersa Declensios (a dead human depicting Yaga-Shura in yet another corpse effigy in the Undercity Ruins), is actually a heavyset, robust human with light-ginger hair and beard, resembling Yaga-Shura's image from the previous Baldur's Gate games.
