Bathing is going to be a problem. Last I checked, the Chionthar wasn't exactly clean.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act Three[edit | edit source]

Drybeldiyx and Garri Orne Garri Orne are southwest of the Blushing Mermaid, discussing their struggle to find fresh water in the Lower City. If the interacting party member is a dragonborn, Drybeldiyx suggests bathing in alcohol, except that even alcohol is no match for the humans in the city.

Idle banter[edit | edit source]

Drybeldiyx: Don't bother. It's broken.

  • Garri Orne: This one too? This is the third fountain I've tried!
    • Drybeldiyx: Fourth for me. City's going to shit.

Garri Orne: Someone should report this to the gazette.

  • Drybeldiyx: If common sense can't sway them, perhaps a publicity disaster will.
    • Garri Orne: Always the way - no one fixes anything unless it hurts them personally.

Drybeldiyx: Can't blame them, I suppose. They've got armies to deal with.

  • Garri Orne: It's not that. It's that no politician ever went down in history for fixing the plumbing.
    • Drybeldiyx: Yes, but you do go down in history if your citizens die of thirst!
