Act Three

Sula Ghevora is standing in line behind  Saer Fleiner, near the entrance to the Upper City. She and her partner hope that they can afford food and shelter once inside the Upper City.

  I'm sure we'll be able to afford things. At least the things we need.

  Honey, we might not be able to afford a room, let alone anything else.
