Rupertine Verily is a dead Drow whose corpse is in the Lower City in Act Three.
Involvement[edit section | visual editor]
Rupertine Verily's corpse is in a cave behind the basement of Lavernica's Home.
Rupertine was killed by Orin the Red. Her body was used as a component of Orin's "art" as an effigy to Sendai, a Bhaalspawn defeated more than a century ago, along with six bodies of other female drow (Incontinentia Figgin in the centre, and Rupertine, Abyssal Gavin, Annathorn Rose, Luka Hauntselle, Martin Yoglin, and Sallyanne Corks around).
All these corpses have identical appearance, meant to depict the fight with Sendai's in previous Baldur's Gate games. There, she transformed herself into seven mirror copies, each with a unique combat style.

Notes[edit section | visual editor]
- Rupertine's in-game model, as well as models of Echo of Sendai (Sendai's ghost at the Murder Tribunal) and Isaan Thibault (a dead Drow in another corpse scene in the Undercity Ruins), and other fake 'Sendai' bodies in the cave, is designed to copy Sendai's image from the previous Baldur's Gate games.
