Barbarian is a class in Baldur's Gate 3. Barbarians use their martial prowess and primal rage to strengthen themselves and dominate enemies in combat.

Level progression
Level 1
- While Raging, you gain the following:
- Resistance against physical damage
- Deal extra melee and thrown damage
- Advantage on Strength checks and saving throws.
- Your rage lasts for 10 turns and ends early if you haven't attacked a creature or been attacked or you decide to end your Rage. You cannot cast spells or concentrate while raging.
- Rage Charges: 2
- The number of times you can Rage per day. Replenished by long rest.
- When not wearing armour, add your Constitution modifier to your Armour Class in addition to your Dexterity modifier.
Level 2
- Until your next turn, you have advantage on all attack rolls, but enemies also have advantage on attack rolls against you.
Level 3
- Rage Charges: 3
- Gain an additional Rage Charge. You can now Rage more times per long rest.

- Choose a feat.
Level 5
- Proficiency Bonus: +3
- Your proficiency bonus increases to +3.
- You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
- Your movement speed increases by 3m / 10ft while not wearing heavy armour.
Level 6
- Rage Charges: 4
- Gain an additional Rage Charge. You can now Rage more times per long rest.

- You have honed your instincts to the utmost degree. You gain a +3 to initiative and can't be Surprised.
