Chromatic Scale is a music store located in the Lower City of Baldur's Gate in Act Three.
Owned by Thomas C. Quirkilious, it is located upstairs from The Glitter Gala. Bards can get a decent discount on selling and buying goods by just talking to Thomas about music via a class-specific dialogue option.
Related Locations
- The Glitter Gala is downstairs
Notable Loot
Thomas C. Quirkilious sells uniquely named musical instruments:
- Falataeric Cli Lyre
- Glimmergad's Selgaunt Fiddle
- Kiam Goda's Kilat Drum
- Stolyarof's Table Lute
- Dostrealt's Piccolo
These are functionally identical to the common musical instruments available throughout the game, though they cost significantly more.
Notable NPCs
Notes
- The name of the shop is a play on words, referencing a type of musical scale as well as the fact that its owner is a Red Dragonborn (and therefore both chromatic and scaled).
