— Nesha Leesha, waiting for her acquaintance |
Involvement[edit | edit source]
Nesha Leesha is standing on the open terrace of the Blushing Mermaid (X: -145 Y: -96), outside the tavern itself (she may sometimes walk a couple of meters to the west). She is a bit nervous and her banter lines reveal that she is visiting the establishment for the first time. When the player approaches her, Nesha tells them that a friend invited her for a drink but has not arrived yet.
Nesha Leesha is one of the marked targets on the Bloodstained Parchment that potential aspirants of Bhaal can kill in order to become an Unholy assassin. The serial killer Dolor is after the names on this list, but will hunt the targets in the order they are referred, i.e. after trying to murder Cora Highberry (regardless of outcome) he will move to attack Figaro Pennygood.
If the player character tells Nesha that her name is on the serial killer's list, she will not believe them at first. To convince her, a DC 15 Persuasion check is required. On a successful check, Nesha becomes frightened and runs away.[1] This earns Approval from Jaheira.
If the player character decides to become an Unholy Assassin by completing Impress the Murder Tribunal, they may tell Nesha that they intend to kill her. This will turn Nesha and all nearby tavern personnel and clients temporarily hostile, except several Tipplesome Patrons inside the tavern and its owner Captain Grisly. Those NPCs will remain neutral unless attacked. Then they will become hostile.[2]
Related Quests[edit | edit source]
Notable Loot[edit | edit source]
- Nesha's Hand, which can be used to gain access to the Murder Tribunal
- Potion of Speed
- Potion of Invisibility
Notes[edit | edit source]
- ↑ If Nesha was not warned, but still survived, she will stay at the tavern terrace until the party's next Long Rest [Needs Verification]. If spoken to, she will issue a meaningless phrase, like most common Baldurian NPCs around the city.
- ↑ If the Help the Hag Survivors, Avenge the Hag Survivors, and Save Vanra questlines are not resolved yet, then this makes Auntie Ethel throw off her disguise as Captain Grisly and immediately triggers the Save Vanra quest, bypassing all interactions within Help the Hag Survivors quest.
