Sorcerer

Sorcerers are natural spellcasters, drawing on inherent magic from a gift or bloodline.

Sorcerer is a character Class in Baldur's Gate 3. Sorcerers use their innate magical powers to fight enemies and aid allies in combat. Sorcerers use Charisma as their primary ability score.

The Sorcerer subclasses are: Wild Magic, Draconic Bloodline, and Storm Sorcery.

Class Information

Sorcerer's default armour

Level 1 Maximum Hit Points: 6 + Constitution Modifier
- Hit points at higher levels: 4 + Constitution Modifier
Important Ability Scores: Charisma for Spells, Constitution for Hit Points and Concentration Checks, and Dexterity for Armour Class.
Saving Throw Proficiencies: Charisma, Constitution
Equipment Proficiencies:
- Daggers, Quarterstaves, Light Crossbows
- No armour proficiency
Skills with Proficiency (Choose 2):
- Arcana, Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Persuasion, Religion
  - You receive a bonus to every skill that you are proficient in. At Level 1 the Proficiency Bonus is +2.

Spellcasting

Spellcasting Ability: Charisma
Known Spells: Sorcerer Spells are Always Prepared. In exchange, Sorcerers know fewer Spells at low levels.

Level 2

Sorcery Points: 2 (Sorcery Points are the innate power of sorcerers. They can use these points to alter Spells or gain Spell Slots. You gain 2 Sorcery Points, which recharge on a Long Rest)

Level 5

Proficiency Bonus: +3 (You gain +1 to your Proficiency Bonus.)
Sorcery Points: 5 (You gain +1 Sorcery Point.)
Scaling Cantrips: Your damaging cantrips gain an additional damage die.
- For example, Bone Chill now deals 2d8Necrotic damage.
Level 3 Spell Slots Unlocked: 2 (You gain two Level 3 Spell Slots.)
